It is a fantastic feeling when a patient with heavy bleeding finds a treatment that works for her. The transformation is amazing! Before they get treated they come to me with these long, drawn out faces, looking anxious and bothered. But after the successful treatment – WOW! They show up to the follow up visit all dolled up, beautiful makeup on, new snazzy clothes. A pep in their step. And the smile. The smile tells the story by itself! It’s a privilege and an honor for me to have played a role in helping her experience improvement or even the end of her menstrual cycle woes.
But what about you? What’s your story? Have you experienced a “bye-bye bleeding breakthrough’? Well we’d like to hear about it. And if you allow us, we’ll even put it on the site for others to gain inspiration through your success and freedom.

We want to hear your story!
I have had heavy bleeding since I was in my 20’s. It would last 7 days and stop. This started a few years after I had my first child. I wonder if it is my weight gain that caused this. I have a yo-yo weight problem. When I hit 37 my periods became irregular. One month it just stopped, the next month it lasted 1 month long with spotting, the third month i bled through my clothes all the way through my mattress and ended up in ER. I was given a 3 pint blood transfusion. I was so scared. I was given ferrex pills and sent home. The bleeding stopped the next day. After, I was sent to a Gyn. She took a biopsy and pap. My pap was normal and biopsy showed a hormone imbalance, but no cancer. I was given the options of birth control, IUD or endometrial eblation. I chose birth control. I actually started it yesterday. I feel nausea and discomfort. My period is still heavy, but I am only on my 2nd day. I do not know what my actual diagnosis i. I do not like to take medication and a friend of mine got breast cancer and a stroke form using birth control. I really wish there was an alternative method. I am going to try a new diet and pray that I can eventually get off the pill and my bleeding will become regular.
i’m considering the cavaterm, but not sure if thats the right way to go….
